An amazing hiking area offering various possibilities to spend the day!
It takes only 11 minutes to reach the upper station at an altitude of 1.200 m above sea level. Go for a hike and take the “Waldgeisterpfad” and explore the panels with wise sayings along the way to the refuges “Foidlhütte” (mountain pasture Mernikalm) and “Klinghütte”
The Goldeck Panoramic Road in Zlan-Stockenboi with its great view to the surrouding mountains and valleys is among Carinthia’s most beautiful scenic roads.
The 35 km long curvaceous road leads through this highly fascinating area.
The most famous alpine road leads you into the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park, to the highest mountain in Austria, the Grossglockner (3,798m) and its glacier, the Pasterze. You will have a driving and nature experience of a special kind on 48 kilometres of high alpine road with 36 turns.
